During my stay at Moon Guesthouse, the location was a major plus. right between two MTR stations, making it incredibly convenient. However, the room was disappointingly small and cramped, making it hard to relax after a day of exploring Hong Kong. The service was adequate, but I found myself managing issues on my own due to the unmanned front desk at odd hours.

Rooms
5.0
The room was extremely tiny, with almost no space to move around. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel. I appreciated the good water pressure and air conditioning, but the lack of space made it uncomfortable after a long day.
Service
5.0
The staff was generally helpful, though I encountered issues with the unmanned front desk during key hours. This made checking in and out a bit cumbersome, and I had to rely on external phone calls for assistance.
Location

The guesthouse's location was fantastic, right between Prince Edward and Mong Kok stations. It made getting around the city easy, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
Dining
7.0
I didn’t utilize any dining services at the guesthouse, but I found several delicious eateries within walking distance, which kept my experience fun and varied.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were minimal. just basic amenities like a fridge and a microwave in the cramped lobby. The WiFi was spotty, which was frustrating at times.

My stay at Moon Guesthouse in Hong Kong had its ups and downs. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city. However, the room was very cramped, and I faced issues with cleanliness during my stay.

Rooms
5.0
The room was incredibly small, making it feel more like a hostel than a guesthouse. There was barely enough space to move around, and the bathroom layout was less than ideal. It felt cramped after a long day.
Service
6.0
While the staff were helpful, I had some challenges communicating needs. If you didn't catch them at the right time, room cleaning was minimal.
Location
9.0
The location was a major highlight. Nestled between Mong Kok and Prince Edward MTR stations made it super convenient for getting around the city.
Dining
7.0
Although not much dining within the guesthouse itself, there were plenty of local restaurants nearby. I had some great meals just a short walk away.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were limited. The small lobby had a water dispenser, but laundry services and additional amenities were lacking.

My stay at the guesthouse was a mixed experience. The location was fantastic, but the room was quite cramped. It's a budget option, but you definitely sacrifice comfort for price.

Rooms
6.0
The room was extremely tiny, and I felt cramped after long days out. There was little in the way of furniture, making it even tighter. Showing good water pressure and provided toiletries was nice, though.
Service
5.0
The front desk was often unmanned, which made checking in a bit confusing. I had to use the keypad to get in, and when I needed extra supplies, communication wasn’t straightforward. However, the room cleaning left something to be desired.
Location

The guesthouse was ideally located between two MTR stations, making it easy to navigate the city. However, the immediate surroundings were overwhelmingly busy, especially on weekends.
Dining
7.0
Although I didn’t eat in-house, I found delicious homemade cakes at nearby spots. There were also plenty of restaurants and food options within walking distance.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities were basic. there was a small fridge and a microwave in the cramped lobby area, which I found useful after a long day out. The WiFi was hit or miss, especially in certain rooms.

Staying at Moon Guesthouse was quite the adventure. The location was superb, nestled comfortably between two major MTR stations, making it easy to explore Hong Kong. However, the space was incredibly tight, making it less than ideal for those who might feel claustrophobic. Overall, it's a decent option if you're on a budget and just need a place to sleep and shower.

Rooms
6.0
The room was extremely cramped, barely larger than a tool shed, with little space for luggage. Showering in the same area as the toilet was not ideal, and it felt more like a hostel than a hotel.
Service
7.0
Staff were mostly kind and helpful, though the front desk was unmanned during early morning and late night hours. I had to call for assistance a couple of times, which added to the confusion.
Location
9.0
The location was excellent, just a short walk from Mong Kok and Prince Edward MTR stations, making it easy to navigate the city. However, the hustle and bustle of the area can be overwhelming.
Dining

While the guesthouse didn't have dining options, I discovered nearby restaurants, including a noodle shop around the corner. Exploring the local eateries was a highlight of my stay.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were limited; there was a small lobby with a water dispenser and microwave but no real communal area to relax. WiFi connection was spotty, especially in some rooms.

My stay at Moon Guesthouse was a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, nestled between two MTR stations, making it easy to explore Hong Kong. However, the room was incredibly cramped, making it a bit challenging to unwind after a long day out. Great water pressure and clean towels were a plus, but I wished for a little more space.

Rooms

My room was tiny, with barely enough space to move around. The bathroom was cramped too; the shower was basically in the same area as the toilet. It felt more like a hostel than a guesthouse, and if you're someone who gets claustrophobic, this space might not be for you.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally helpful, although I sometimes struggled to communicate clearly. There were times when I had to specifically ask for my room to be cleaned, which showed a bit of inconsistency in service. It would have been nice if they could have been more attentive.
Location

I loved the location of the guesthouse! It was so conveniently situated between the Prince Edward and Mong Kok MTR stations. I had quick access to many attractions and local eateries, which made my stay quite enjoyable. Just be prepared for the crowds, especially on weekends.
Dining
8.0
While I didn't dine at the guesthouse, there were plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby. There was even a noodle shop on the ground floor, which was a nice bonus. I really enjoyed sampling local pastries from the surrounding area during my stay.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were basic but served their purpose. There was a small fridge and a microwave in the tiny lobby, which was useful. However, the Wi-Fi could be spotty at times, especially if you were in certain rooms. I did appreciate the water dispenser.
